Kickstand Brewing Company in Commerce Township

During the quarantine, we try to order out at least once a week to local, non-chain businesses. Kickstand has been great at posting on our local website their specials for the day. Friday they had a bacon wrapped filet and a small lobster tail, with cheesy mashed potatoes and fresh green beans for only $23. Everything was excellent, and I'm very picky about filets. It was melt in your mouth tender. The potatoes and green beans were great. Great meal. Keep up the posting on UL website. It helps a lot!

We love everything about the restaurant. When they are open we never miss taco Tuesday. Now that we are curbside we have been enjoying the Village pizza and porter. Super good!

Got curbside pick up. It was super easy and convenient. We ordered NY Strip, bourbon glazed salmon, chicken and waffles, and two growlers. Everything was delicious.

Great staff, food and beer. They have great specials ($5 beer flights, $1 chicken tenders) and a good kids menu (actual apple slices! Homemade mac n' cheese!) During the COVID-19 shelter-in-place, their curbside pickup has been a life saver.

Curbside pizza and beer was awesome this week curbside. The pizza is our favorite. Service was great from placing the order to quick pickup at the door.

We dined out for take out and got the Cajun pasta, mahi tacos and potato soup. All were 5 stars hands down, delicious. Highly recommend.

I have been coming to Kickstand since they opened and have never left disappointed. It's sad right now that it is curbside carryout only because the atmosphere is always so great. I can't wait for them to open back up! For now I will try to support as much as I can and I hope everyone else does as well.

Went past this place too many times to count and never stopped in and I regret it. Recently moved with 10 minutes and decided to give it a try since home cooked meals were starting to get boring. This place is amazing and the curbside pickup was super quick. Mahi Mahi tacos we fantastic and the Seoul bowl was just as good. Beer cheese dip is a must as well. Cant wait for things to be normal and we get a chance to dine in and try all of their brews.

Ordered carry out pizza and salad. It was ready exactly when they said it would be. The wait staff who brought it to our car was wearing gloves and a mask. Everyone was very courteous. Will go there again soon for sure!

We really enjoy going to Kickstand, it is our favorite restaurant in the area. We especially like the pizza and cobb salad. We placed a carryout the other day and we were greeted at the curb with our order, it couldn't get any easier than that. Keep up the excellent food and service. Food is reliable, atmosphere is awesome. The take-out service during pandemic has evolved and is now super efficient, but can't wait to come in for a beer when things return to normal.

Great beer with a wide variety of options to choose from combined with a diverse food menu that is above and beyond your average bar menu makes Kickstand a can’t miss brewery! Add in the casual and relaxed atmosphere plus friendly staff and you cannot go wrong. A must go to in the community.

During these times of social distancing we took the opportunity to support our local brewery. We ordered a couple Cubano sandwiches and a 4 pack of beer. We paid VIA credit Card (including tip). They asked for the color and make of our car. 15 minutes later I drove up front and they came out with a smile and our fresh order. It was so easy. So good we were so happy. Thank you being there during these tough times. We hope you’ll be there and sting when this is over. We’ll be there. To others: tip a bit extra these days to show how much you appreciate what they do for us.

My favorite place to get dinner. The beer is amazing and the food is delicious. I highly recommend visiting them. It’s an awesome place to visit even with your kids!

I am just adding to a previous rating (a year ago I rated them a 5 star, that hasn't changed.) But I wanted to add some comments to say that, as always Kickstand had provided excellent service and food, even in these tough times we are going through right now. Ordering was a breeze and the curbside pickup was even easier. Keep up the amazing work and I can't wait to belly up to the bar again! See you guys soon!

We don't go out often, but when we do, this is our restaurant of choice. The food is exceptional, the beer choices terrific and the staff welcoming. One of our favorites is the BBQ Chicken Pizza, but everything we have ordered has been delicious.

We love the food and the beverages are unique and excellent. We love that the food will vary from time to time, and we've never had anything we didn't love. Great service, good atmosphere, and the carry-out has been awesome. They have a great process for that. Strong recommend for fun and great food.

Kickstand is a local fixture. Great food (especially the pizza!) and excellent beer choices with rotating taps to keep it interesting. It is definitely a place I like to regularly go.

Kickstand is one of our favorite local places to grab a drink + a bite to eat. They have a great atmosphere and their staff is always upbeat and provides great service. Whenever we have family in from out of town and want to take them out to eat, Kickstand is our first choice. During the COVID-19 stay at home order they have continued to provide delicious food with their curbside carryout and their staff has continued to stay positive. I highly recommend Kickstand and will continue to support this local business.

Ordered a Quarantine carry out tonight!! The special was Beef Brisket, Fish n Chips and Cuban sandwich and Pretzel bites!!! All were SO DELICIOUS!

First time coming to Kickstand last Tuesday. I knew you had a Taco Tuesday and although your a brewery, I also wanted to get tacos. Your menu was very misleading for tacos. Our tacos were cold and gross. Beer was fine ... service was great in the beginning, but sooner rather then later it was clear it was going to be harder to just even get a water. So Kick Stand was great for beer, however, if your wanting food I’d suggest going some place different.

We had a great dinner here! The waitress was awesome. Started with yummy pretzel bites which were tasty and came with two sauces. Then we had the fish tacos and the beet and pear salad. This is our new favorite restaurant!(When we left the waitress ran out because my son had left his water bottle and retainer at the table)It just goes to show you what excellent customer service is!!

Food, service and beer is amazing! Ran in for a quick bite and everything was fresh, hot and fast! 1/2 off pizza on Mondays!

We wanted to support our local restaurants and Kickstand is definitely one we do support. We ordered the Beef brisket and Bourbon salmon for pickup. Both were well prepared and very tasty. Definitely will be back for curbside service and for inhouse dining once they are open. Make an effort to support this restaurant.

I will definitely be a returning customer, this place was fun and the food was great. I love that this not only a brewery but a place you can get wine and cocktails. It really makes it accompanying for groups if you don’t have all people that drink beer. I got the chicken and waffles and it was super good.

We ordered curbside pick up , and the food was outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of food for take out. We will definitely come back .

Food and drinks never disappoint! The food definitely isn’t your typical bar food. I love the salads and pizza and don’t pass up the beef tips and onion rings. Their specialty drinks are amazing too.
